Lady Colin Campbell has sprinkled some royalty on the Celebs Go Dating agency, as she joined Love Island’s Megan Barton Hanson and Lauren Goodger to look for romance.

But the 69-year-old hasn’t got time to form bonds with her other famous faces – including Lee Ryan and Jack Fincham – as she’s just too busy.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk about her fellow castmates, the I’m A Celebrity star told us: ‘I’m obviously not going to end up being close friends with any of them, but I liked them all and I’m very happy to see them.

‘Am I going to bond closely with them? My life is so full already, it’s really pretty full.

‘I’m much older than they are, number one, and number two, I am extremely busy. Because I have several careers, not just one. I have a castle to run, I have TV stuff that I’m doing. Each of those would be enough for one person.

‘I’m extremely busy. I’m very fortunate in having a lifetime of really great friends.’

We’re getting tired just reading all that.

Lady C’s dating life has been in the news for decades, having married Lord Colin Ivar Campbell back in March, 1974, after only having known him for five days.

But it wasn’t to last and they split less than a year later.

And this isn’t the first time the socialite has turned her hand to dating on TV, after looking for love on First Dates.

So what exactly is she looking for in her next partner?

‘Someone that has everything and wants to give it all to me,’ she joked. ‘I thought the agents came up trumps.’

But the socialite has a stern warning for anyone who tries to mess with her – she’s a total lioness when she needs to be.

‘I suppose I can be a pussycat but I’m also a lioness,’ she added. ‘I used to be very soft and sweet and obliging, but then I was pummelled left, right and centre.

‘So one learns, as one goes through life, to toughen up. I’m still soft and obliging, until someone tries to take advantage of me, then they realise I have a real good growl and a roar.’

We can’t wait to see her lioness come out…

Celebs Go Dating begins on Monday, at 9pm, on E4.
